Barbara Coenson is a partner at KM Jackson Law Firm, P.A. Mary Ann Etzler received an associate degree in 1977, bachelor’s from the University of South Florida in 1990 and juris doctor degree from Samford University Cumberland School of Law in 1995. She practices criminal defense, commercial and general civil litigation, and environmental and domestic relations.
From 1978 to 1992, Etzler worked for the St. Petersburg Police Department as a patrol sergeant and police academy instructor. From 1992 to 1995, she attended Cumberland, where she served on one of the school’s two law reviews, directed the senior trial team, and placed second in the 1994 national Negotiation Competition. Etzler served as an assistant state attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida from 1995 to 2000. Her duties included prosecuting post-conviction appeals, and she conducted about 100 felony, misdemeanor and juvenile trials.
Etzler, a mother of two boys, serves as a guardian ad litem, citizen’s dispute mediator, member of Leadership Orlando, and adjunct professor at the University of Phoenix. She also serves on the Christian Service Center of Central Florida Inc.’s board of directors and is president-elect of the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers for 2009-10.

Paula Ferreira graduated magna cum laude from Rollins College with a bachelor’s degree in international affairs. She is the firm’s immigration administrator and manages the immigration law practice. Frédéric Guitton has been with National City Mortgage for nine years and currently serves as an area sales manager. Before his current position, Guitton served as a sales manager and loan officer.
